Ms. Weiner practices in the areas of corporate, alternative finance and non-profits.
She represents alternative lenders, corporations, not-for-profit entities, investors and financial institutions.
Her practice encompasses a wide range of corporate, non-profit and corporate finance matters, including cross-border transactions, private equity transactions, clean technology investments, and debt and equity financing transactions. Ms. Weiner’s debt finance experience includes a wide range of finance transactions such as leveraged financing, hedge fund financing, project financing, senior secured financing, mezzanine financing, real estate financing and lease financing with an expertise in leveraged financing, hedge fund financing, senior secured financing and cross-border transactions.
Ms. Weiner regularly acts as outside general counsel to not-for-profit entities including matters relating to formation, tax-exemption, governance, grants and endowments, corporate sponsorships, policies and procedures, and general operations. Ms. Weiner serves on the Non-Profit Organizations Committee at the New York City Bar Association.
Ms. Weiner is an avid tennis player. While at Yale, she played varsity tennis where her awards included All-Ivy and Most Valuable Player. She currently plays USTA national tournaments where her age group ranking in the United States has been as high as #1 in team doubles and #4 in singles.
